On 5 March 2025 Singapore extended the deadlines attached to the developer Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty remission, for projects on residential land acquired on or after 6 March 2025. A project falling within one of four qualifying categories of complex project gained 6 months on its commencement, completion and sale timelines, and a project falling within more than one gained 12. A separate leg extended the CORENET X qualifying period for smaller new projects to first submissions made until 31 December 2026. No ABSD rate moved, no buyer outside the licensed developer regime was touched, and the underlying 2-year and 5-year timelines were left in place for every project outside the categories.

Methodology5 rules
  • Comparison anchored to effective date: 6 March 2025. The anchor is the effective date where one is recorded, otherwise the announcement date.
  • The windows are the same number of days on each side of the anchor, and the anchor day belongs to the after window.
  • A series counts toward a window only for observation periods wholly inside it, with values as originally recorded, not as later revised.
  • Where no whole period falls inside a window, no value and no difference is stated; a day no whole period covers is missing, never zero.
  • Concurrent land sales and archive events are listed by date alone. Nothing on this page is attributed to the event.
