What we collect, and why.

Three kinds of data, all of them things you give us or create here. First, your account: the email address you sign in with and the display name you choose. Second, your research activity: the events you save, the collections you build and the views you write. Third, contact messages: the name, email address, subject and message you submit through the contact form.

Our hosting infrastructure also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and browser details, used for security and operations. The site runs no analytics or advertising scripts, shows no ads, and does not sell personal data to anyone.

The site sets cookies for one purpose: keeping you signed in. There are no third-party tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.

To run the service you signed up for, to answer messages you send, and to protect the site against abuse. Sign-in emails are the only email the service sends today; if that changes, unsubscribing from anything non-essential will be one click.

Prevo runs on two infrastructure providers processing data on its behalf: Supabase, which provides the database and authentication, and Vercel, which provides hosting. Both are bound by their own security and data-processing commitments. Prevo does not share your personal data with anyone else.

Account and research data are kept while your account exists and are deleted when you ask us to close it. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable record afterwards, and are deleted on request.

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and withdraw consent, which for an account means deletion. All of these start at the contact page, and none of them requires a reason.

When this policy changes materially, the change and a new date will appear on this page. The current version is always at this address.
