Total cost of buying a property in Singapore
Beyond the price, a purchase pays Buyer's Stamp Duty of up to 6% on a home, Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty from 20% for a citizen's second home to 60% for a foreigner, and legal, valuation and other fees. This adds them up from the rates in force on your purchase date.

Is stamp duty on the price or the valuation?
On the higher of the purchase price and the market value, for both Buyer's Stamp Duty and ABSD.
What fees should I add?
